About Kerrie Elizabeth Godding: Author, Artist

Kerrie Elizabeth Godding has been drawing and writing stories as long as she can remember. When she was little, she would ask her Mom to draw her a Queen, Princess, or a fancy lady in a beautiful dress. She would then spend hours trying to copy her Mother's artwork.

She attended Cleveland Institute of Art, Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts and UMass Boston Theatre Arts. Her working life followed many paths. She flipped burgers at Roy Rogers, was a secretary many, many times, was a store department head and a manager, graduate school registrar, apartment rental agent and civil servant and the owner of one of the first, fully on-line businesses employing over 60 writers and editors world-wide - just to name a few (but not all!) Nothing has given her as much joy as does illustrating and writing her stories.

She is now living her ultimate zen. She has been married to her honey-bunny, Jerry, for over 30 years. They live in Hastings, Nebraska with their 2 dogs: Brinkley, a goofy Yellow Lab and Bella, a dog of unknown origin who seems to have mastered the "I'm so cute, won't you give me a bite of your ham sandwich?" face.

Her daughters are spread hither and yon throughout North America. This gives her ultimate opportunities for grand vacations in BC, Chicago and Nebraska. Who could ask for anything more?

Kerrie Elizabeth hopes you like her books and drawings as much as she likes making them for you.
